haha! that's great! I have a friend who interned with a "legend" (in her own mind) therapist here. She was so pushy, nasty and bossy - even with her clients - that he quit on the second day.

She factored in the "expense" of hiring him (I guess the copy charge for the intern contract he signed?) and cut him a check for two days of work that was less than $10.

All he said was "what the hell is wrong with that witch?"

I said some other things... HA!

One time I worked at a reptile store and I quit because it sucked. They owed me about $50. They refused to give it to me.

I sued them through the labor board, and because of all of the laws tied in with paychecks and such, I ended up with almost $900 after the whole thing was done.

Holy check writers! I wonder if they really could afford to the print the check. The ink, paper & employee time cost more than $3.58! Priceless... lol

Wow, it probably cost them more to produce and mail that check than what the check is actually worth.

For over 10 months, I had a 2 cent credit with AT&T. After calling them multiple times, I finally got to the right person who could just wipe out the credit. "No", she said, "we have to send out a check. A week later, I got a check for two cents. It cost them at least 25 cents in postage to send the check out, not including the paper cost to cut the check. Or the numerous paper bills I got each month telling me I had a credit.
